Many teachers want to give students more opportunities to speak but time, tools, and grading often get in the way. School and district leaders are doing their best to support that kind of learning, but budget constraints and purchasing processes can make it hard to move forward.
We’ve made a set of changes to help.
Teachers using the free version now receive 100 AI credits each month. AI credits provide access to features like open response auto-grading, grammar insights, proficiency level estimates, and suggested responses.
For schools and teams that need more credits or collaboration tools, new seat types are now available under the Team Plan. Pricing starts at $25/month (billed annually) per teacher, and each seat includes access to:
Schools can choose the right seat for each teacher.
Leaders can now generate their own quotes and check out using either a credit card or a purchase order. The process takes just a few minutes, and doesn’t require a sales call unless you want one. Visit the pricing page to explore options.
You’ll continue to have access through the end of your current term. Pass/fail auto-grading on open response pages will remain unlimited and won’t use credits. Other grading types, including rubric-based grading, proficiency estimation, and correct-answer grading on short answer pages, are now available and will use AI credits. When your subscription ends, your account will move to the Free Plan unless you upgrade to a Team Plan.
No, these plans are being phased out. At the end of the term, all users will be transitioned to the Free Plan. Team Plans are now available for those who need more credits, collaboration, or support.
Credits are used when you assign activities that involve AI-powered grading or feedback. Free, Team Core, and Team Advanced seats includes a monthly credit amount that refills automatically.
You can create a team, select the number and type of seats you need, and then choose to generate a quote or check out immediately using a PO or credit card. This article provides a step-by-step guide for generating quotes and checking out with purchase orders.
We know that every classroom is different. Some teachers need just a little help automating feedback. Others are building programs across multiple schools or districts. These updates are meant to support both ends of that spectrum — and everything in between.
If you’re already using the product, you’ll see these changes reflected in your account, including new team and organization functionality. If you’re just getting started, you can sign up free in just a few minutes.
We're grateful for the feedback that helped shape this update, and we’re here if you need support making the transition.
